TURIN, Italy (AP) – Jaden Addai scored a goal in each half as Como defeated Torino 5-1 on Monday to move into the top six of Serie A and extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to 11 games.
The 20-year-old Dutch winger put Cesc Fabregas’ side ahead nine minutes before half-time with a precise cut-back from Jesus Rodríguez.
Torino leveled the score just before half-time when Nikola Vlasic converted a penalty after receiving a handball in the box.
But Addai put Como back in the driver’s seat with a low right-footed shot from 20 meters seven minutes after the restart.
Spaniard Jacobo Ramon added a third with a header in the 71st minute, and Nico Paz made it 4-1 five minutes later.
Martin Baturina rounded off the scoring by capitalizing on a poor backpass to slot the ball under the goalkeeper.
Como achieved their first win in Turin since April 1986, lifting them into sixth place, one point behind Juventus.
Turin remains in 12th place.
