MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Arsenal’s wins continue.
The Premier League leaders extended their advantage at the top of the table to seven points with a 2-0 win at Burnley on Saturday.
This is 13 wins from 15 games in all competitions for Mikel Arteta’s side, and their strong start to the season has only strengthened their belief that their long title drought will end.
Arsenal have been crowned English champions for the first time since 2004, but this season they have quickly established themselves as a team that can win.
First-half goals from Victor Gokeres and Declan Rice at Turf Moor made it their ninth successive win and further increased the gap between Arsenal and the chasing pack.
Manchester United missed the chance to move into interim second place, but maintained their recent unbeaten run with a late goal against Nottingham Forest that earned them a 2-2 draw.
Bottom of the table, Wolverhampton are again without a win after losing 3-0 to Fulham.
Crystal Palace beat Brentford 2-0 and Brighton beat Leeds 3-0.
