LDU plays against Palmeiras
In the other semi-final series, Ecuador’s LDU will face Palmeiras on Thursday, looking to defeat the Brazilian club for the third time in the finals.
LDU defeated Sao Paulo in the quarterfinals and advanced to the last four for the fourth time since 2008.
The team, based in the Ecuadorian capital, defeated defending champions Botafogo in the round of 16.
Three-time Copa Libertadores champions Palmeiras defeated Argentina’s River Plate to advance to the semi-finals.
