Then, towards the end of the second half, a pass collected a long ball from a counterattack, cut inside and, without even looking at the goal, sent a curved shot into the corner of the goal.
Madrid will no doubt be keeping an eye on him as they face Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Former Arsenal manager and striker Arsene Wenger and Thierry Henry were also watching from the stands in Como. Fabregas, who was serving the second match of a two-match suspension for protesting, played alongside Wenger’s Henry at the London club.
Como are level on points with Juventus and three points behind leaders Inter Milan, Napoli and Roma.
AC Milan then won against undefeated Fiorentina at San Siro, giving them a chance to regain the lead.
Meanwhile, Juventus have not won in over a month since defeating Inter 4-3 on September 13th.
It was Como’s first win against Juventus in 75 years since 1952, ending a 23-game winless streak.
