Barcelona, Spain (AP) — Killian Mbappe scored one goal and another on Saturday leading 10 Real Madrid to a 2-1 victory at Real Sociedad in the Spanish league.
The French star scored in the 12th minute with his fourth goal in many games this season. Mbappé used his excellent speed to compete against poor passes by Sociedad players and fired past goalkeeper Alex Remiro.
Madrid defeated the man for nearly an hour after new central defender Dean Huysen saw the 32nd straight red card and pulled him down with a goalkeeper who only took down Michael Oyalzabal.
However, Mbappé doubled his lead on the 44th when he dribbled around the marker near the Vallein before finding Arda Guler on a pass to score.
Oyalzabal pulled one back for the host by converting the penalty on the 56th. Dani Carbajal had admitted a spot kick when the ball hit the arm in the area.
It was Madrid’s fourth victory in many games to start the Laliga.
