Paris (AP) – Paris Saint-Germain Coach Luis Enrique The French Champions said late Friday he had a cycling accident and was scheduled to undergo surgery after breaking his collarbone in a cycling accident.
The 55-year-old Spaniard, a cycling enthusiast, led PSG to his first Champions League title last season, with the team opening up League 1 title defense in three consecutive games.
The club did not specify where the accident occurred.
“After Friday’s cycling accident, Paris Saint-Germain head coach Louis Enrique will be treated by emergency services and undergo surgery on the broken collarbone,” PSG said in a statement. “The club has expressed full support and hopes for him to recover quickly. Further updates will be shared in the future.”
The next game from PSG will be held at Atalanta in three days against the lens on September 14th. Champions League title defense.
See you Friday, PSG star Oousmane Dembélé limped Field was injured while playing for France in World Cup qualifiers. He left what appears to be a correct hamstring injury.
