London City Lioness arrived in the Women’s Super League by completing the blockbuster of French midfielder Grace Jeyoro from Paris Saint-Germain on Friday, becoming one of the most expensive female players in the world.
Club CEO Martin Semmens told Talksport Radio in response to reports from the UK media, London City paid a world record fee of £1.4 million ($1.88 million) in world record fee ($1.88 million).

2025-26 WSL season starts on Friday. London City will visit Arsenal on Saturday for the opening game.
