Wiesbaden, Germany (AP) — Harry Kane delved deep into the winning goal Wednesday to give Bayern Munich a 3-2 victory to the third division team, avoiding the exit of the potential shocking first round and giving Bayern Munich a 3-2 victory. German Cup.
Kane had already scored one penalty and saw another penalty saved by Wysbudden goalkeeper Florian Stritzel.

Michael Oris made it 2-0 from a loose ball on the 50th, but Wiesbaden fought back shortly after Fatih Kaya scored in a rare offense by the hosts. Kaya’s speed made the difference once again when he leveled his score by surpassing Bayern defender Jonathan Tah on another counter.
Kane had the opportunity to seal the victory with another penalty after being fouled in a clumsy sliding challenge, but Stritzel saved both the England captain’s spot kick and his follow-up header.
As extra time approached, Stanisic hit a cross from the deep and Kane rose to his feet above defender Justin Janitzek to lead the winner.
The German Cup has been Bayern’s least successful competition in recent years. Since their last victory in 2020, Bayern has not surpassed the quarterfinals and have lost in the second round in the last five years.
Bayern’s victory over Wiesbadden was the last of the first round of the game of 32. All but one of the 18 Bundesliga teams ended up in the second round. Werder Bremen was the exception, beaten by Arminia Bielefeld, the runner-up last year.
