Monaco (AP) – The heavyweight and undecided rookie of European football will find Champions League opponents when the opening league phase draw takes place in Monaco.
Everything gathers in the beachside concert hall for a drawing ceremony that starts at 6pm local time (1600 GMT).
They include title holders Paris Saint-Germain and Cyprus newcomer Paphos. Kazakhstan’s 15-time champions Real Madrid and first timer Kairat Almati. British champion Liverpool and Norway Bodeau/Grimt are from within the Arctic circle.
The shape of Almaty and Bodeau in January is the coldest in competitive history and will be one of the longest trips ever for visiting teams.
Former champions who were unable to qualify for this edition include AC Milan and Manchester United.
This is the second season League Phase Format Thirty-six teams played eight different opponents and were ranked in the single stand table.
A weighted schedule will result in each team being two opponents drawn from each of the four seed pots. Teams are seeded based on Their ranking Results of over 5 seasons in UEFA competitions.
The game will begin on September 16th, with the final league phase match day on January 28th.
The top eight teams in the final rankings will advance to round 16 in March. Joining them will feature teams who are eight knockout playoff winners and ranked 9th to 24th, scheduled for February. The lower 12 teams will be eliminated.
