LONDON (AP) – Tottenham continues their flight start to the Premier League season under new coach Thomas Frank as Brennan Johnson and Joa Pargigna secured an impressive 2-0 victory at Manchester City on Saturday.
It was an afternoon that I forgot about city goalkeeper James Trafford.
The Spurs scored four points without replying at City last season, this time celebrating their 2-0 victory as they cherished home debutant Trafford’s mistake just after Johnson opened the score.
Tottenham deserves praise, but much of the post-match analysis surrounds goalkeeper Raford. Goalkeeper Raford returned to Etihad Stadium this summer on a £27 million ($36.5 million) trip from Burnley.
Johnson’s opener was difficult to prevent, but Trafford may have been sent out for Mohamed Kudus’ clumsy challenge before his big error allowed Parghina to score in the first half stop time.
Returning from illness, Aedason saw from the bench speculation about his future and potential urban movements of Paris Saint-Germain star Genluigi Donnarumma Rumble.
On a difficult day for the home side, the recent signature signed by Rayan Ait-Nouri was injured and had to be replaced by Nathan Ake midway through the first half.
Shortly afterwards, Tottenham found the net. The Pape Matar Sarr flick header passed through Richarlison.
Initially, offside was ruled out against Brazil International, and the goal was ultimately awarded, and Val’s review caused a wild celebration at the away end.
City was spiral from that point on, Trafford was foolishly handed over in a box of his own, and he had a searle on his back.
Ball went slowly to Richarrison before reaching Parchinya to drive the second of the Spurs.
Ouattara’s debut goal
Dango Watara scored on his debut, winning a 1-0 victory over Brentford over Aston Villa.
Watara, who participated from Bournemouth last week, took part. He nodded to Igor Thiago for just 12 minutes to make the mark as a goal kick from Khaoimhin Kelehar. Ouattara’s first attempt was saved by Emiliano Martinez, but Burkina Faso’s winger was fired on the rebound.
Bournemouth also played throughout the second half with 10 guys in a 1-0 win over Wolverhampton and after pushing Bournemouth forward Evanilson and defender Torty was sent out.
Marcus Tavernier scored his only goal in the fourth minute.
Goals and support
Jadon Anthony set the opener for Josh Cullen and scored another goal as Burnley Beat Fellows promoted Team Sunderland 2-0 on the first point on the top flight.
Arsenal hosted Leeds late on Saturday.
