MONTREAL (AP) — Jackson Hopkins scored his first goal Saturday night in a 1-1 tie against DC United’s CF Montreal in the MLS.
DC (4-15-8) lost five games and lost streaks.
Hopkins, a 21-year-old homemade in his fourth MLS season, scored in the 28th minute. The 6-foot-2 midfielder bent a low shot from the top of the penalty arc in the left post to give United a 1-0 lead.
Caden Clark re-supervised Aarón Herrera’s false pass to Prince Owusu.
United’s Lewis Baraza stopped the two shots.
Montreal (4-15-8) is undefeated in three consecutive games for the first time this season.
Thomas Gillier had two saves for Montreal. The 21-year-old started his first career last Saturday. 1-1 It connects with Atlanta.
The team played on a 0-0 Thailand on March 13th.
