PARIS (AP) – The newly promoted League 1 side Paris FC signed the Swiss team St. Gallen striker Willem Garbels on a five-year contract on Sunday.
Paris FC announced its signature via video Posted on x. Although no relocation fees were given, French sports daily L’équipe cost Geubbels an additional 2.5 million euros with the final bonus.
The 24-year-old Geubbels went through Lyon’s famous youth academy, but played very little for the club before joining Monaco. Before joining St. Gallen in 2023, he scored one league goal and two Nantes goals there, scoring 14 league goals last season.
Paris FC has since had a large amount of free access to its funds take over Arnaud, France’s wealthiest family High-class Empire LVMH. Energy Drink Giant Red Bull has won minority stakes.
