Paul Doyle, 53, was in tears when he appeared on the video link from prison for a hearing at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday.
During the hearing, he was informed of the new charges, of which 23 were due to assault. Six of the new accusations are related to children, including two six-month babies, at the time six months.
He was originally charged with seven crimes Incidents in the city centre May 26th.
Doyle is scheduled to enter a petition on September 4th.
