Bournemouth, England (AP) – Justin Kruivort and Ryan Christie miss Bournemouth’s season opening game Defending Champion LiverpoolManager Andoni Iraora confirmed on Thursday.
Kruibert, the team’s top scorer in the preseason Premier League, missed the preseason game due to a calf injury as Cherry scored the highest points in total.
“Justin wasn’t training with us, so he’s out,” Iraora said ahead of Friday’s game at Anfield.
The Netherlands scored 12 goals in the league and 13 goals in the entire season.
Christie, a 30-year-old Scottish midfielder, has trained with a team with a gro caliber injury.
“But I think it’s too early for him because he’s not in the preseason,” Iraora said.
