Sunderland, UK (AP) – Newly promoted Sunderland Advances the new Premier League campaign, he signed 19-year-old striker Mark Gyu on an in-season loan from Chelsea on Wednesday.
Guiu made 16 appearances for Enzo Maresca’s team last season, scoring six goals. Chelsea won the third tier competition.
Guiu has become the second youngest player (age 18, 350 days ago) Get Chelsea hat trick. That feat brought a 5-1 victory over Shamrock Rovers.

“I see myself as a powerful striker and can make a difference both on and off the ball. I take pride in being a natural scorer,” he said in the Sunderland announcement.
Guiu rose to his feet through the Barcelona Youth Academy and made seven appearances for the Catalan club before joining Chelsea in 2024.
Sunderland will host West Ham at Light of Light Stadium on August 16th for the season’s opening game.
