Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (AP) – Luis Suarez got a winning penalty kick, and Intermiami gathered to beat Necakisa in the League Cup on Saturday night after losing Lionel Messi Hamstring injury At the opening.

InterMiami coach Javier Mascherano said Messi wasn’t necessarily in pain after the match and pulled him out. He indicated that Messi will be tested on Sunday to determine the severity of his injuries.
“There’s probably something there,” Maschelano said through an interpreter.
Intermiami played guys for a lot of restrictions after Maxi Falcon was kicked out with a red card in the opening minutes. Necaxa defender Cristian Calderón was sent off on the 60th after being shown a second yellow card, so both clubs played alongside the remaining 10 men.
Telasco Segovia moved ahead by his side 1-0 minutes after Messi left the feed from Intermiami rookie Rodrigo DePaul. This was the second goal of the Segovia tournament.
Badaroni tied it in 1 with a shot of tapping his Rios Nobo in the lower left corner on the 33rd.
Ricardo Monreal placed the Mexican club first, 81st before veteran left-back Alba snapped the header behind the net with a free kick from De Paul.
InterMiami won the first two League Cup matches, but can only move forward if there are enough points in the tournament’s Major League Soccer rankings. Saturday’s victory gave Intermiami five points, with the heron sitting on the MLS table, but there will be a few more matches for the rest of the weekend.
The tournament is split between the MLS and Liga MX teams. Only the top four teams from each league table after three games will qualify for the knockout round.
