Real Madrid signed Dean Huissen, a highly rated defender who was rated by Bournemouth Spanish defender Dean Huissen in his first bolster in the offseason on Saturday.
The 20-year-old Huijsen signed a five-year contract until June 2030, the Spanish powerhouse said. Madrid has revitalized the players’ £50 million ($66.4 million) to sign him, Bournemouth said.

Huijsen is a Dutch-born ballplay centre who joined the Premier League team from Juventus for £12.5 million (now $16.6 million) last year’s offseason. He has been a regular at Bournemouth since breaking into the team in November.
Huijsen “has contributed to the club’s record campaign, which we’ve seen Andoni Iraola’s side break the best points in the Premier League,” Bournemouth said.

He was so impressed that he won a call from Spain for the Nations League playoffs in March, taking his place in Game 1 against the Netherlands, starting his second leg.
Guaranteed to a good reader of the ball and game, Huysen linked up with some of the Premier League’s biggest teams, including Liverpool and Arsenal, so Bournemouth lost a tall defender over the summer, but was making great profits in the process.
Madrid will need to rebuild its defense after suffering multiple injuries to its backline during the Trophylles 2024-25 campaign.
Huijsen will be staying with Bournemouth for the remaining two games of the season before departing for Madrid.
