Diogo Jota, a 28-year-old Portuguese footballer from Liverpool, died in a traffic accident in Zamora. The accident occurred at 65 kilometres of A-52 at the height of the Zamorana area of Sanabria.
The Liverpool player died when a vehicle travelled along the road and set fire to its fire with his 26-year-old brother Andre (a professional soccer player from Penafil).
According to an eyewitness who warned 112, the car was engulfed in flames and spread to nearby vegetation.
