Arsenal’s Andrea Berta’s eyes, after Saka switch roles, the next transfer | Soccer | Sports

Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium collided with West Ham on Saturday afternoon. The Spanish tactician changed a club that had been in great decline when he took the reins in late 2019, significantly improving his performance, mentality, consequences and fan sentiment.

Arteta boasts the highest win rate (59%) among Arsenal managers, but what separates him from his predecessor like Arsenwenger is his lack of a major trophy — he wants to correct this season. Despite not yet playing best due to the challenge of integrating injury retreat and many summer signatures, Arsenal is considered a serious contender for both the Premier League and the Champions League this early stage of the season. This did not block the club’s plans for the January transfer period. Rumors suggest that the young stars in Real Madrid can be targeted. Additionally, Arteta may be preparing another tactical shift to bolster its Premier League title bid. Now, we’re digging into two major headlines surrounding the gunners this week.

Andrea Berta Eyes Real Madrid’s Talent

Arsenal reportedly aims at 18-year-old Real Madrid defender Victor Valdepenas. Despite adding Piero Hincapie to the impressive option already on the left side of the defense, Andrea Berta is said to be a fan of the 6ft2in left-footed Valdepena.

The Spaniard is currently playing for Real Madrid’s second team. This is trying to prepare the youngsters for the first team. And transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says Gunner wants him to become another ubiquitous Mosquera.

Going to the podcast here, Romano revealed: “I have one name: he is a talent Arsenal has been watching for months and he is a player he keeps watching.

“He is considered a critical talent, a very young player in the youth sector in Real Madrid. He is one of Arsenal’s radar players, as the centre-back, Spanish and talented Arsenal has been keeping an eye on him for a while.

“We know how difficult it is to sign a Real Madrid player because all players stay in Real Madrid and consider it the best project possible, but certainly Arsenal is tracking and monitoring this boy.”

Romano went on to add: “I really believe Arsenal won the jackpot by signing Christian Mosquera. Signing a player like Mosquera for £13 million is because it’s a great opportunity for them to come out on the market and have a very fast, very fast, very fast, very fast, very fast, very fast, very fast, very fast, very great opportunity.”

Saka and Eze’s position swap theory

There is a lot of externally saying about how to maximize the chances of an exciting summer arrival. The former Crystal Palace playmaker began his first few Arsenal games on the left. There he couldn’t influence the game as much as he liked.

He and Bukayo Saka came as substitutes during the weekly Champions League clash with Olympiacos. Eze operated on the right for Martin Odegard’s involvement, and Saka scored a goal from the left to win a 2-0 victory.

This led some Arsenal supporters to advocate Saka being used more frequently on the left.

The 24-year-old Saka has evolved into one of the best right wings in world football in the last four years, but can prove to be equally effective on the opposite wing.

When asked about Saka ahead of his 200th Premier League appearance against West Ham, Arteta highlighted the player’s incredible growth. He said: “As I was asking your questions, I visualized Bukayo playing as a left-back in my first game with Bournemouth, and that’s the first thing that comes to mind.

“He’s come very far on the pitch, very far on his journey! The person he’s now on the team and his role, and it was a joy to see it every day.”
