William Saliba recently became the latest famous Arsenal star to commit a long-term future for the club by signing a new contract.
Arsenal finally came up with a plan to bring together their biggest stars. The Gunners were able to have William Saliba commit to a big coup, a five-year deal, as Real Madrid is hiding.
They are now turning their attention to Bukayo Saka to sign a new deal that will make him among the top earners. Both were allowed to enter the final two years of the current deal, but this time there was no panic as they were in a strong negotiated position through very obvious but intentional tactics.
Arsenal sports director Andrea Berta has signed defender Christian Mosquera. In other words, the worst can replace Saliba and act in the same way as Noni Madueke and Saka. It eased the pressure and also meant that if either player showed no signs of signing on again they could sell. However, Saka’s speech is on track and he is set to follow Saliba by signing on again.

Meanwhile, Takehiro Tomiyasu may be on his way back to the Premier League.
Japanese defender Tomiyas, 26, is a free agent after leaving Arsenal in the summer after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract due to a knee injury.
The Premier League club is enthusiastic and Brighton links with a versatile defender (who can play in the back) who enjoyed his time in British football.
AC Milan is also watching developments with Tomiyas, who is keen to play regularly before the World Cup.
