Eddie Howe has pledged unwavering loyalty to Newcastle United following speculation that Manchester United could target him as a potential replacement for struggling boss Reuben Amorim.
Amorim has endured a heated start at Old Trafford this season, including the humiliating Carabao Cup exit to the town of Grimsby, continuing to struggle following his disappointing previous campaign.
Howe – promoted for his position in England last summer – highlights his long-term commitment to St. James Park, with a full focus on his job in the Northeast.
When asked yesterday about the Manchester United Link, which gained traction on various media platforms, including Talksport, Howe delivered a encouraging message to Toon Army.

Prior to Sunday’s clash with Nottingham Forest, Howe told Chronicle Live:
“My commitment here is 100% and has always been that way. My family is still here. We fight every day to make what we do.
“The upcoming season could be great, and that’s what we’re trying to focus on, and we’re trying to make the success of the game we’re coming.”
Despite enduring the painful set-off of this campaign, Howe and his team left the pitch with enthusiastic applause from supporters.
Hau said:
“For me, it’s as bad as defeating me, that’s the worst thing a manager can feel honestly.
“What I ask is that the supporters give players all ounces while the game is in progress. After the game, the supporters feel free to express the way they want.
“We can’t think freely about football or distractions, so we know that we’re in the outcome business, so we’re grateful, appreciated, and never accept the obvious.”
Hau added:
“You have to constantly think to get your eyes off for a second, become lazy, or get used to the same habits.
“It requires a lot of energy and thought, and that’s what drives me.”
Newcastle is facing a forest outfit that just suffered from a 3-2 Europa League defeat, with city ground supporters demanding the head of boss Anjipost Kogul after two weeks in the hot seat.
“I think we all know when we get jobs. We can’t take you out of that shooting line before,” added Howe. “We are all exposed to the same forces, determined by the outcome.
