Gabriel Martinelli has won Arsenal’s target in a 2-0 Champions League victory over Olympiacos, with Viktor Gyoker returning to goal soon following all action displays against the Greeks
Gabriel Martinelli claims Victor Gjoker can snatch up to 40 Arsenal goals this season. The Norwegian playmaker returned to the magical, creative best on Wednesday night with the Emirates as he won the Man of the Match Award in a 2-0 victory at the Greek Champions Olympiacos.
Martinelli, who slotted out the 12-minute opener, claims that even if the Swedes were to find a target and end up in five matches, it’s only a matter of time before Gyoker’s numbers explode.
The Brazilian winger said:
“I think it’s good for him to play with Martin too. We’ll try to give him as much ball as we can to score him, I don’t know, 30 or 40 goals a season.

“We’re really happy with him. We trust him, we know his qualities and he’s one of the world’s top strikers now. We trust him and we’re trying to give him the confidence to score on the pitch and do our best to help us.”
Martinelli had each started collecting unnecessary reputations from Arsenal’s supers, who had netted off the bench against Athletic Club and Manchester City, respectively.
However, after backing up these decisive cameos against the Greeks, Martinelli made it clear to Mikel Arteta that he was a bit unsettled in the part role.
He continued: “I mean, I want to play, and I want to start all the games. Like I said, I’m going to help the team as much as I can. The manager is the one who makes the decision and we have to respect him.
Martinelli added after scoring in back-to-back Champions League victories. “It’s a dream for me. I always try to help my team and do my best to live in those moments.
