Manchester United is set to close a bargain deal with Colombian mysterious Christian Orozco.
The transfer window may have been closed for more than a month, but Manchester United still struggles to work. The Red Devils remain keen to add new faces to their team.
Christian Orozco is set to be the latest to complete the move to Old Trafford, suggesting United is trying to seal his contract for services. He has reached a contract with his current side for a deal worth around $1 million (£741,000).
The 17-year-old will officially move to England next summer, and his arrival marks the next stage in the club’s plans to showcase the world’s most promising young talent. Diego Leon, Sekou Korn, Chido Obi Martin and others have already been seduced to move northwest.

Who is Christian Orozco?
Orozco is currently a young midfielder who is trading with Fortaleza on the Colombian side. He joined the current side from Rojo FC in the summer.
He’s a slightly defensive mind midfielder. Orozco has already influenced the international stage, and has played in Colombia under the age of 19 nine times.
What was said?
Despite his gentle years, much has already been said about Orozco. “He has a positive leadership style that allowed him to become captain of the Colombian national team. He is well-expressed and receptive,” said Alvaro Escobar, one of his former coaches.
“When I fix it, he’s not upset. It’s a joy to coach him,” Escobar shared his joy when he learned about the switch to Old Trafford.
Campo Elías Santacruz is also filled with praise. He added: “With his character and playing style, he established himself with the U15 and U17 teams.

When will he make his debut?
It may be a while before United fans see him acting despite the close of contract. United are not permitted to formally close the transaction until he is 18 years old. Even before that, the club chief still needs to complete the transaction process.
