England International missed a summer transfer to Liverpool and the contract was dropped on the deadline day as the palace was unable to source the appropriate replacement in time.
Guehi placed the transfer saga behind him, leading his team to an impressive start to the season.
Speaking about Guehi’s possibilities, Hargreaves said:
“The way he handled the situation he might have thrown the toys out of the pram like other players did and got their moves, but he was the ultimate expert.
“He knows he’s the captain of the football club and they helped him out. He’ll probably get his move at the end of the season.
“He’s a dream. He’s really good, he can defend really well. He’s only 25 years old. He’s the oldest 25 year old I’ve ever seen.

Guehi replaced Joel Ward as captain, and the former palace defender told TNT Sports he was not surprised at how his former teammates reacted to his uncertain summer.
“I think he’s going to think this is a real opportunity to kick,” Ward said.
“What happened in the summer is in the past. For me, I think one of Mark’s biggest strengths is the way he handles the situation.
“He has such a great support network around his family.”
Hutchison praises the “incredible” palace
Having 19 games unbeaten has drawn a lot of praise for Crystal Palace, especially manager Oliver Grasner.
TNT Sports co-cooperative Don Hutchison was impressed with the challenges Glasner faced against Kyiv and how he set up his team for the ability to steal points.
“That’s what I like about Oliver Glasner’s team selection,” Hutchison said. “He wanted to keep that momentum so he got stronger. He doesn’t want to come here and lose the game. Now they’re 19 years old and undefeated.
“When they play at home, they are the animals, Crystal Palace, but they proved to be extremely capable on the road tonight.”

Palace took the lead in the first half, with Daniel Muñoz getting a stunning header from Jeremy Pino’s back post-cross.
They had the chance to double the lead before halftime, and Kawanaka Yamato deserved a more appropriate run than the tame finish he provided.
However, they got their second through Eddie Nketia, who came as an alternative to Jean-Philippe Mateta’s successor.
A few minutes after he was rejected by the offside flag, Nketiah turned the ball into a net from the close range after a magic from Pinot, then shook his path from the left wing to the right wing, then crossed the outside of his right boot and shook into the path of his teammates.
After Borna Sosa was sent off, Glasner had one sour note.
Three minutes after picking up the yellow card, he surrendered himself to a too late tackle and received a march order for a second reservation.
Palace’s next conference league match will face Aek Larnaca on October 23rd.
