Manchester United have endured a miserable start to the Premier League season, and former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has not hesitated to point out their end mise
Jurgen Klopp has dug up a cheeky dig at Manchester United following the Red Devils’ miserable start to a new Premier League season. United sat 14th at the table as they only won two of their six games after a loss by Brentford on Saturday.
After losing the Europa League final to Tottenham, the pressure is rising on Reuben Amorim, who saw them finish 15th in the top flight and missed European football.
It’s a mal lazy feeling that was unaware of Klopp, who fought many times against Liverpool’s fierce rivals during the heavily successful spell at Anfield, winning the first league title of 30 years and the sixth European crown.

Talking to athletic about his new role within the Red Bull setup, Klopp admits that part of the club under his authority is essentially a stepping stone to the other side…but no longer united.
“We’re not our final destination,” he admitted. “We’re not Liverpool…or once at Man United, you can write it if you want.”
Since leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2023-24 season, Klopp has been constantly linked to his return to dugouts with various European giants.
However, the former Dortmund boss claims he hasn’t missed anything about the strictness of club management, and is completely satisfied with his current role in Red Bull’s global football head.
When asked if he was sitting on the TV waiting for the Liverpool game to begin after departure, he said: “I was very pleased with the way Liverpool played. I watched a few games. But it was, “Oh, it’s Saturday!”
“We didn’t know when the game started. We played sports. We enjoyed our lives, spent time with our grandchildren, and were totally normal.
