The 24-year-old Frenchman has been an important part of the Watertight Arsenal backline in recent years, having played for the club 140 times in all competitions.
Saliba arrived in north London in 2019 and was loaned to the sides of Ligue 1 Saint-Etienne, Nice and Marseille before entering into an unfair partnership with Brazilian centre-back Gabriel Magalges.
Mikel Arteta said Saliba is a popular member of Arsenal’s dressing room after the new contract was announced.
“Since joining us, William has grown enormously, embraced responsibility and has built strong connections with our supporters and everyone in the club.
“We know there’s still a lot to come from him and will continue to work together to continue improving with our clear ambitions to win major trophies.”
Saliba made 51 appearances in all competitions during the 2024/25 campaign, scoring two goals that Arsenal once again impressed.
Gunners fans have been hoping their team will win their first Premier League title since the 2003/04 season, and France International has played a key role in a solid start to this season.
