Federico Chiesa will not be joining the Liverpool team due to a Champions League clash with Galatasaray despite taking part in Monday’s open training session
Liverpool left Federico Chiesa from the team for Tuesday’s Champions League showdown with Turkish Galatasaray. Despite taking part in open training at the AXA Training Centre on Monday, Italian International was not included in the 21-man team Liverpool confirmed for their second Champions League match.
Chiesa was initially not ruled out from Liverpool’s team in the first phase of the competition.
The forwards were influenced from the bench, earning a late equalizer in Saturday’s 2-1 Premier League defeat at Crystal Palace, providing two assists in a 2-1 League Cup victory over Southampton four days ago.

Slots recently confirmed that the club is about to add cheesa to their Champions League teams at the league stage. “Yeah, we’ve considered this,” he said at a press conference Friday.
“I can’t tell you exactly where that process is at this point. That’s not what I’m doing myself. There are others doing this.
“But if I’m notified correctly, if the player has been injured for more than two months, you can replace him. That’s what they said to me and now I need to see if it’s true, but others are looking for it.”
