Chelsea have not won the Premier League since August. Enzo Maresca is under pressure after losing back-to-back leagues to Manchester United and Brighton.
Enzo Maresca’s position as Chelsea manager is safe and will be evaluated at the end of the season. After a disappointing result, the blues boss has been in the spotlight in the past two weeks.
Chelsea’s UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup victory have lost some of its luster after a disappointing start to the season. Despite a positive start, they have not experienced Premier League victory since August, leading to back-to-back defeats against Manchester United and Brighton.
Maresca’s team also fell to Bayern Munich in the Champions League and shaved Lincoln this month with the Carabao Cup.

Chelsea’s defeat to Brighton was witnessed by joint control owners Behdad Eghbahli, sports directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, as well as club bosses Joe Shields and Sam Jewell.
The West Londoners wereted a 1-0 lead after Trevo Charova was shown a red card. Brighton scored the net three times with a double favor from Danny Welbeck and a goal from Maxim de Kuiper.
Maresca was attacked because his tactical choices were once reduced to 10, as he did against United, Football London reports.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Chelsea, the Telegraph claims that the club’s boss is calm and is confident that the goal of finishing in the top four in the cup competition and being challenging is still achievable.
The Blues have only had four league losses since the end of February.
After the Brighton match, Mareska discussed the visit of Egbari and the sports director. “They were in the changing rooms as usual,” he said.
“We have an office in the changing room and we talk about the game every time we play, but they didn’t say anything to the players, it was nothing, completely different compared to the rest of the team.”
However, Maresca had a harsh message for his team. “The message we just said inside was very clear. We can’t keep giving presents to any team in the Premier League because what we’re doing in this moment is giving presents from a red card perspective.
“We definitely need to learn and learn quickly, so the reason why it can be a combination of experiences and simple mistakes is from an injury perspective,” Maresca continued.
“If I just watched the first half of today, I don’t think I’d think about the injured player.
“We were controlling the game again, so we were controlling the game. And again, I want to tell you something different, but it’s the reality of the last two games, unfortunately, all two red cards have been changed.”
