Gary Neville is aiming for Reuben Amorim following Manchester United’s 3-1 Premier League defeat at GTECH Community Stadium
Gary Neville admits he is concerned about Manchester United as the club has serious doubts about Reuben Amorim’s continued support. United have their third loss in six Premier League matches of the season, beaten 3-1 at Brentford on Saturday.
Amorim has not overseen consecutive league wins during his ten months of responsibilities. He oversees the way his side has put more pressure on the bees. Neville raised new concerns about the future of United, 40.
“I’m very worried, Rebecca. It doesn’t make sense to me to sit here and say I’m not,” he told NBC Sports’ Rebeccalow.

“Yesterday, performance, results, alternative levels. I saw something at the end of the Grimsby game, where I lost in the Carabao Cup a few weeks ago.
“We admire their system for their stubborn and resilient managers, and we want them to stick to their plans, but when Mason Mount plays left-back you will look pretty stupid.
“It’s happening twice now and it’s not happening. It was the first time I thought it was unforgivable and it happened again yesterday.
“He changes back three and back five for each match, and his performance and results are unacceptable.
“I’m really worried. I’m never going to be on TV because I know how difficult the job of a manager is. Managers say they should be fired, but the Manchester United hierarchy wants to see the turnaround.”
Despite the disappointing start of the season, the former sports CP coach claimed he still has faith in himself to succeed at Old Trafford after his match in the capital on Saturday.
He said: “I’m always happy with my job. I’m not worried, it’s not my decision. I’ll do my best every minute I’m here. I’m never worried about my job. I’m not that kind of guy.
“I’m always at work. If I win, I’m in a different state of mind. That’s normal, but I’m always confident because I know what to do. I’ve always had a lot of responsibility on your own shoulders.
“We need to play better, we need to play better. It’s like ups and downs. When you win, you all feel that momentum is here.
“If we lose, we’ll go back to the same place and fight again for one victory that will help us build momentum.
“I can’t say more than I say whenever I lose a game. Sometimes I see teams who perform very well and see improvements, and there are some games that don’t see that improvement.
“It gives you confidence that Manchester United will be back. So it’s always the same conversation. It depends on the next game. So you’re going to win the next game and try to improve certain things.”
