It appears Manchester United have completed two deals in a two-day space. Two teen stars are set to sign with the club.
Manchester United has a preliminary agreement to sign teenage midfielder Christian Orozco as they continue to scrutinise the glove for its talent. The 17-year-old move is second in the 24-hour space after another successful exam.
Orozco played for Fortaleza CEIF and captained Colombia’s under 17 side. The defensive midfielder is seen as a talent with the potential of the first team, helping him reach the final of the Spring U17 South American Championship.
Orozco’s journey to Old Trafford will have to wait until he turns 18 next year. In the meantime, he will continue to play for Forterza CEIF until he is confirmed in July, Manchester Evening News reports.

The Colombian move comes with the Red Devils, close to completing a deal with another 17-year-old midfielder of Senegale star Moohmed Dubbo.
According to African Foot, Dabo has been on trial at Carrington recently, and the other leader who captained the Senegal U17, the central midfielder, is believed to have impressed United’s decision makers during the club.
Dubbo is featured in the book by the BE Sports Academy, which had a previous relationship with Barcelona. The midfielder is on the radar of a Spanish club, but United is believed to be trying to close the deal.
United have expanded their academy recruitment in recent years. This is partly motivated by Brexit rules that prevent players from signing from other clubs in Europe. Back in January, they agreed to a £3.3 million fee, rising to a potential £7 million with the add-on, with Cerro Porteno signing Diego Leon.
With this agreement, Leon completed his travels from Paraguay in the summer window. Leon moved Carrington’s coach, working exclusively with his first team before the season and talking about his hopes of appearing in the club this semester.
United have benefited from signing players from other academies over the years. Alejandro Garnacho was bought by Atletico Madrid when he was 16 while he was now moving to Chelsea.
