Liverpool 2-1 Southampton: Alexander Isaac and Hugo Ekitique found Liverpool net at Anfield, but the Frenchman was fired for his celebration
Hugo Ekitike came out of the bench to secure a spot for Liverpool in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup. It was the first time for the Frenchman to take a shower after the match.

Sure enough, McCarthy’s whimsical backward whim was intercepted by Chiesa, who had delighted Isaac, squared to score a gift-wrapped goal about 38 seconds after Sienza’s Howler.
It proves to be Isaac’s final say in the evening as he set out at halftime after his own tailored warm down.
Ekitique quickly raised Chiesa and fired fire, but the Italians were offside and the French offered new threats in the attack, but he had no real service.
The threat of that saint remains, and when Wataru End gets confused from Manning’s horn, they can get Charles the header in the wrong way.
However, Liverpool quickly grabbed the winner, and as Ekichike was squared to tap the house he suddenly left the stage.
