It’s not the best outing for the World Cup winner at Chelsea Shirt, who is responsible for the passes that leads to Lincoln’s goal. I was hooked on the game with the 20-minute balance from the end.

He kept his cool in front of the goal when he presented a second half chance, but there was no real clinical edge as Chelsea went looking for a third to kill the game.

When he was selected for Fernandez at the back post, he had to net the opener in the first half, but his recent arrival distorted his efforts from close range to the crossbar. I placed myself during his 70-minute cameo, but it was of no quality in almost everything he did.

He has mostly moved from his Stamford Bridge outfit on the deadline day, and finds it difficult to get to the point so far this season. He showed his class the night when some of his teammates went into hiding. He must have been disappointed that it was taken 20 minutes after the time.
