Silva expects a tough game
“The final few seasons have been a tough game, always with goals, and in fact, they have both sides and all of that dramatic goals,” Fulham’s manager looks forward to the match.
“Everyone knows the type of game we expect, Brentford knows as well. Fans on both sides know. We love being involved in this kind of game. Honestly, most of the time, we do really well.
The bees have changed since last season, with Brian Mbeumo, Joane Wissa and Christian Norgaard all leaving with Thomas Frank, but Silva was impressed by how Brentford handled the departure.
“They were important players. I’m not saying they’re prepared for all these changes, but I think the way they replace them will tell you they had a plan behind it,” Silva said.
“From a structural standpoint, I haven’t seen a lot of differences. Of course (Keith) Andrews is trying to put his personal on the team, and that’s a good start to their season.”
