One Manchester City star has honestly approved his chances on his side as the Premier League enjoys twists and start of the turn into a new season

Bernardo Silva has recognized Liverpool and has admitted that Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League are now greater than Manchester City. Silva signed Cityzens in 2017, with only two campaigns on the side of Pep Guardiola that were not winning titles.

Liverpool pitted the city into the title in 2020 before cruising to last season’s title. After dominating British football for a long time, City endured the stud campaign last year, but still finished in the top three.

Despite having a comfortable beating Manchester United last weekend, City’s title hopes were knocked by a disappointing 2-0 home loss to Tottenham and an annoying 2-1 away defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion. Given the start of the campaign and strong-performing Arsenal and Arneslot teams have come this season, Silva thinks his team isn’t a favorite to win the Premier League, but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything yet.

Portugal International said on its official Manchester City website:

“My favourites last season were Manchester City and Arsenal. Liverpool wasn’t my favorite, I won the Premier League. I can’t do a lot of math at first.

“Of course we can talk for our team and say that our level is not yet where we want it, but once we reach that level, we know that a lot of teams can’t stop us.

“We can’t win the Premier League until February, but we can lose it. What we want is to go back to our level and bring our level back to where we want it.”

City strengthened their side this summer with signatures from Tijani Reyjna, Rayan Ait Nouri, Rayan Cherki, James Trafford and Gianluigi Donnaruma.

They also spent £175 million during their January transfer period. This saw Omar Marmoush, Nico Gonzalez, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis arrived.

However, Liverpool’s spending was greater than both Liverpool’s matching windows this summer, with Alexander Isaac, Florian Wiltz, Hugo Echicicke, Milos Kerquez, Jeremy Fripon and Giovanni Leoni arriving at around £446 million. Deciding not to be left behind, Arsenal invested large sums in Viktor Gyoker, Eberechi Eze, and Noni Maduke.

Bernardo Silva of Manchester City, Philfoden of Manchester City, Tijani Rey Junders of Manchester City and Erling Haaland of Manchester City will celebrate their first goal during the UEFA Champions League MD1 match between Manchester City and SSC Napoli, between Manchester City and SSC Napoli at Manchester Stadium.

The city has the opportunity to place a big dent in Arsenal’s Premier League hopes this season. They travel to Emirates Stadium on Sunday and bid to push themselves back to title competition.

Gunners have already lost 1-0 to Liverpool this season, and a loss to another title rival would be a big blow. Mikel Arteta’s side is currently second, but the other outcomes that are defeated by City and against them can be seen as Gunners drop out of the top four.
