Man Utd boss Ruben Amorim is under attack for refusing to be upset from his strict 3-4-3rd floor, and even the Pope says he can’t persuade him to throw it away now
Reuben Amorim doubled his controversial system, saying even the Pope could not change his formation to the Manchester United boss.
Amorim has been criticized for refusing to change from his strict 3-4-3 formation, earning just eight wins from 31 Premier League matches since he was in charge at United 10 months ago.
United, who finished 15th in their lowest position in 51 years last season, has only four points from many games this semester and has already been dumped from the EFL Cup by League 2 Grimsby.
Amorim held a summit meeting this week with United co-owner Ir Jim Ratcliffe, who is Omar Berada’s CEO and director of football Jason Wilcox, who appreciated the team’s continued poor form.

Despite United not making a fast start this season, Amorim is going to stick to his controversial system – after being asked if he proposed to change it at the meeting.
“No, no, no,” Amorim said. “No one, even the Pope, does not change (me). This is my job. This is my responsibility. This is my life.
“There’s evolution, but you need to take all the good steps. It doesn’t matter if I’m a player and I’m under a lot of pressure and he’s in the world. You say you need to change the system.
“So, everything is important when you think about the impact that decisions have on your team. So I’m going to say the same thing. This has evolution.
“But I do things my way. Some people do it differently, but that changes. So I hope there’s time to change, but that changes.”
