Arsenal 3-0 Nottingham Forest: Mikel Arteta’s men returned to the trajectory following a defeat against Liverpool before an international break, doing light work for visitors

Arsenal returned to how they won the Premier League in a comfortable 3-0 victory at their home in Nottingham Forest. The gunners faced a forest team first managed by Ange Postecoglou as the former Tottenham boss was appointed shortly after the looting of Nuno Espirito Santo.

Post-Coglu’s side was stubborn to begin with, but never stopped Martin Zubimendi’s incredible volley in the 32nd minute. After only half the corner was cleared, Zubimendi brilliantly attacked the ball before bouncing back.

His efforts took a slight bias from the forest defender and gave Mads Sells no chance. Arsenal came in 1-0, but they lost Martin Odegard in the first half to a worrying injury. This precedes the clash between Athletic Bilbao and Manchester City.

It was only seconds after the break that the gunner doubled the lead. Viktor Gyoker scored the third goal in three top flight games after Eberechi Eze gave him a simple finish.

But the brightest of all, the one who received no support was the winger. Noni Maduke was outstanding and continued his rich form after appearing in Serbia’s 5-0 thrashing in Belgrade on Tuesday.

However, Arsenal was not held after Madueke left. Zubimendi met the cross of Leandro Trossard, and his appropriate headers were three for the host.

This is the rating of Emirates players.

Arsenal

David Raya 6 – only made one save against a weak attack.

Jurrien Timber 7 – Another impressive game for the Netherlands right back, winning the biggest duel (5), making the most clearance (3), and the statistical beast by making the biggest tackle (2) of the Arsenal player.

Cristhian Mosquera 7 – excelling in his first Premier League start, debating William Saliba’s absence during the match.

Gabriel Magalges 7 – once more rock behind.

Riccardo Calafiori 6-booked late and took off immediately.

Martin Odegaard 5- injured 8 minutes later, but he did not recover.

Martin Zubimendi 8 – a mysterious goal to beat the deadlock and his second big leap, showing why Arsenal kicked him out £55.8 million.
