Brentford 2-2 Chelsea: Enzo Maresca’s men put almost a dozen behind the first half to score all three points – but Brentford’s 90-minute alternative, Fabio Carvalho, had other ideas
Sebio Carvalho denied Chelsea in the face of death when Brentford showed grit to gain a share of the Derby loot.
It was home side that created a better chance in the first half, with Kevin Shade defeating the deadlock with a style with an ice-cool finish after being clearly sent out the race courtesy of a majestic pass from Jordan Henderson.
Enzo Maresca Rung made a change at halftime to rock Chelsea to life, with Mark Kukulera’s introduction, Reese James and Tyrike George improved the blues.
Cole Palmer was the next member of the cavalry and after returning from his injury he needed a blues talisman for less than five minutes to find the net. Both sides traded jabs before Moises Caiceto unleashed Thunderbolt over Kelleher in the 85th minute, completing Chelsea’s turnaround.

Robert Sanchez 6-First Brentford goal had little chance and had a good stop before the leveler.
Wesley Fofana 5 – totally unconvincing, and it was no surprise to see Reece James replace him at halftime.
Tosin Adarabioyo 6-Chelsea were busy with Igor Thiago and Shade before they raised ante in the second half.
Trevoh Chalobah 7 – Igor Thiago made a great final midway intervention to prevent him from achieving goals early in the second half.
Jorell Hato 5- When drifting infield from the left, he struggled to adapt to have the same impact as Mark Kukulera. We took off during the break.
Enzo Fernandez 6-Grown into an influential figure in the engine room. Like everyone else, it improved after the break.
Moises Caicedo 8- was one of the best players in the difficult first half, but he will step up to Thunder Home and become a victory goal.
Pedro Neto 7-It made things happen directly. If his offensive teammate had a better shape, he would have had multiple assists.
Facundo Buonanotte 5-The move to Stamford Bridge is a player who has surprised many things and forgets. We took off during the break.
Jamie Gittens 5 – Another person who didn’t have any effect in the first half. He was replaced by Cole Palmer so that he seemed to find his feet.
Joao Pedro 6- Appeared everywhere and more involved after the break.

Marc Cucurella 6-The key gears of the Enzo Maresca team. Chelsea seemed far more balanced and threatening with him and Reese James.
Reese James 6-Chelsea looked much more comfortable with the captain at right back.
Tyrique George 6- After being featured at halftime, he forced an early save from Caoimhin Kelleher. Before fading, he injected his life into Chelsea’s attack.
Cole Palmer 7 – Chelsea talisman got off the bench when they needed him the most. Within five minutes of coming, I plundered the elegant equalizer.
Alejandro Garnacho 6- only was given 10 minutes to influence his debut. I tee up Moises Caiceto but couldn’t track Fabio Carvalho because of the Brentford leveller.
