The 23-year-old Lammens was previously featured only in Belgian football, but Bayindir has launched all three United Premier League outings for the campaign.
The Bay Indeal was to condemn Ricardo Calafiori’s strike in Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over United during the opening weekend of the season.
The horns of the 27-year-old Fumble Duran Rice and former Scottish International Craigburley believe the city will mercilessly exploit frailty when dealing with crosses in penalty areas.
“Along with Bayindir, I’m just waving under the crossbar for fun with Haaland (Erling) and half of all the centers I have on him, all set pieces above him,” Burley told ESPN.
“Hell, if Man City has someone who makes long throws, I’m throwing it in Rory’s Dellup style. He’s absolutely hopeless about coming out and dealing with the air ball, so I’m loading it into a box – he shows it.”
Amorim has firmly supported Bay Indeal this season as his first choice goalkeeper despite Onana’s injuries issues and the challenging 2024/25 campaign. Despite some questions about his performance and Lammen’s last minute signature, Amorim confronted his decision.
“Altai will continue,” he declared. “It’s different leagues, different countries, different balls (for the Lanmans). So they (he and Bayindil) fight for that position. We’re really pleased. He’s a goalkeeper with a lot of potential.
“We are a moment when goalkeepers need to be really strong and have a lot of experience, but we also have to look at the present with a focus on the future.
United secured their first victory of the season before an international break, beating the newly declared Burnley on a 3-2 scoreline. But Burley believes that Amorim still needs to deal with a clear imbalance in the middle.
“I can’t help but think that if it’s mid-2, the city must control the area, they must dominate it,” he commented. “And if they dominate the area as I expect, the supply lines for wide players and Erling Haaland will be plentiful.
“I don’t know how United dominates the middle of the park. Yeah, they have (Brian) Mbeumo and some forward players who can go in behind and hurt the city, but you have to own the ball. That was a big problem for them.”
