Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandez made his remarks about criticism from several experts and fans over the pitch’s body language while wearing an armband
Bruno Fernandez leads Manchester United into Sunday’s Derby and insists that despite the criticism it brings, he will never change his passionate style. The United skipper fired for his emotional approach. Many critics argue that he is not worthy of wearing the captain’s armband for it.
However, the 31-year-old playmaker admitted he couldn’t change the opinion of his people and said he wouldn’t change the way he plays because of criticism from afar. “People are giving their opinions about me and I can’t change that,” Fernandez said.
“It’s how you want you to judge you about what people see for most people, what they see on the pitch, some of them, what they see on TV, what they see in interviews.
“You know, I can’t change that. They have the freedom to think about them, so they have the freedom to think about how they want about me. But what I don’t do is not judge people until I know them. They can have an opinion about me.

“We all have different opinions, different opinions. That’s why life is so good, so different, because if we all think the same way, it’s so boring.”
When asked how his friends and family would describe him, Fernandez told BBC Sports:
“Everything you see on the pitch is what Bruno looks like.
“I don’t have as much skin emotion as I do on the pitch, but I’m still very passionate about everything he does.”
