FPL Injury News: Palmer, Isak, Saka, Cunha, Marmoush Latest Golden Week 4 | Football | Sports

Fantasy Premier League managers will surprise the top star status ahead of GameWeek 4 Deadline on Saturday at 11am. Big money midfielders Cole Palmer and Bukayo Saka missed Chelsea and Arsenal before the international break, but Manchester United and Liverpool were injured while the players were away.

Here, Express Sport will carry out the rules on the biggest injuries suspected of FPL teams as they contemplate their weekly transfer…

Alexander Isaac

Alexander Isaac is set to make his long-awaited Liverpool debut, with the club breaking British transfer records and signing him from Newcastle on a £125 million deal.

But the maiden may come out of the bench. Liverpool boss Arne Slot is looking for attention after ISAK’s preseason has become chaotic.

“Don’t expect him every 90-minute game on the pitch. That definitely won’t happen in the next few weeks,” Slot explained.

“He missed a proper preseason. I think he missed a three-month or four-month team session. So we have to gradually build him up as we play so many games and have very little training time.

“So, that’s going to be a challenge, but I think this is something we need to remember that fans will either take him at a certain moment or take him a little bit, as we’ve signed him for six years, not just the next two weeks.

William Saliba

William Saliba followed five minutes before he had to twist his ankle in a warm-up before playing Liverpool.

The centre-back was then pulled out of the French team and reportedly missed up to four weeks of action.

Matheus Cunha

Matheus Cunha had to be replaced by the first half of United’s victory over Burnley with Hamstring’s injury, but despite his breaking out of the Brazilian team, he eased the fear that the problem was serious.

On Sunday, he may be able to ride the pitch of the first Manchester Derby of the season, posting photos from inside his home gym, hinting that he is partially back in training.

However, director Reuben Amorim ruled out the possibility, and Diogo Darott and Mason Mount also stood by.

Omar Marmash

However, one player who missed the match is Manchester City forward Omar Marmash.

He took off alongside Burkina Faso in the ninth minute of Egypt’s World Cup qualifiers with a knee injury and was removed from the match on Sunday.

“He has to do his final test, but I think it’s a few weeks,” Pep Guardiola said. “He’s ready before or after (next) international break.”

Rayan Cherki and Rayan Ait-Nouri are also not available.
