Pep Guardiola falls as one of the best managers of all time in the Premier League, but Diet Mar Haman doesn’t believe he’ll win another major title at Manchester City
Dietmar Hamann has not seen Pep Guardiola claim another major trophy from Manchester City. The Spanish genius has been constantly present at Etihad Stadium for nine years, securing six Premier League crowns, two FA Cups, four League Cups and the Champions League.
However, despite writing a fresh two-year deal last November, speculation has swirled around his future in Manchester. City came in a disappointing third place in the Premier League last season, crashing from the Champions League to Real Madrid in the Knockout Phase playoffs, struggling with the exit of the 16 League Cup to Tottenham Hotspur and beaten to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final.
The American Summer Club World Cup also brought disappointment to citizens who were excluded by Al-Hilal in the 16th rounds.

Guardiola endured a mixed bag of results from the first three Premier League matches of the semester, with the city waning to 13th place on the table. Their campaign began with a 4-0 victory over the Wolves over the opening weekend, then a 2-0 defeat from Thomas Frank to the rejuvenating Spurs and a 2-1 defeat for Brighton’s international break.
City is preparing to host Manchester United on Sunday, so they are gearing up for the first Manchester Derby of the season. With Premier League champions Liverpool already moving six points ahead, City hopes to set the title chase in an epic way when they take on the Red Devils.
