The Premier League returned this weekend following a two-week international break, leaving some bosses without any important stars. International breaks offer managers the opportunity to reorganize, but can also bring anxiety through potential injuries.
Unfortunately these sets are part of the soccer and parcel, but if they happen under the national team’s manager, they can put an additional burden on them. Sunday’s Manchester Derby stands out as a weekend marquee fixture, but Ange is approaching Post-Ecogul’s return with Nottingham Forest against Arsenal.
Here, Express Sport looks into all aspects of the 20 Premier League and gives you the latest injuries updates.
Arsenal
Mikel Arteta faces considerable fitness concerns ahead of his early encounter with the forest on Saturday. While Kai Herberts and Gabriel Jesus continue as long-term victims, Bukayo Saka may be “significant” with Arteta’s acknowledged hamstring issues.
William Saliba escaped from his French mission after rolling his ankle at Anfield. This reports that he has been absent for three to four weeks. That means Christian Mosquera could continue to be satisfied.
Aston Villa
Matty Cash, Amadou Onana and Boubacar Kamara are all questioning Villa’s clash with Everton. Cash maintained a “severe bruise” on his quadriceps while representing Poland during an international break, but Onana and Kamala both nursing hamstring issues. Unai Emery faces delicate, balanced acts with the trio, but Ross Barkley is likely to be seen as lacking the sharpness of the match.
Bournemouth
Cherry skipper Adam Smith took up the issue of hamstrings before an international break. Lewis Cook is in doubt about his knee complaints, and Ene Unal continues to recover from a serious knee injury he suffered from his last campaign.
Brentford
Vitaly Janelt can return to the team after working on fitness after an injury. Paris Maghoma, who was absent before the season through injuries, finds himself in a comparable situation while Gustabonnes continues his fight to regain full fitness. Yunus Konak may make a comeback after ankle issues.

Brighton
Adam Webster and Solly March remain long-term victims, but Matt Weefer can feature Segal when he is facing Bournemouth.
Burnley
Connor Roberts may be back from knee issues, but Jordan Bayer, Zeki Amdoni and Manuel Benson are not available on Scott Parker’s team.
Chelsea
Cole Palmer will surround Cole Palmer’s availability after Chelsea set off during a warm-up before a 5-1 victory at West Ham with a gro caliber complaint. However, Levi Colwill (ACL) and Liam Delap (Hamstring) are certainly excluded for the immediate future.
Benoit Badiashile and Romeo Lavia are not expected to return yet. “I don’t think they’ll come back after an international break, but they’ll be closer,” Enzo Maresca said last month. Dario Essugo had surgery on thigh issues while in charge of international duties with Portugal’s Under 21.
Maresca may rest Reese James on the bench after playing in both England matches during an international break. His playing time continues to be monitored at Chelsea.
Crystal Palace
Oliver Glasner was able to keep Mark Guech on the deadline, but he has a contested injury. Ismaila Saar is out with a hamstring injury, and Adam Wharton is also in great doubt due to muscle damage. Eddie Nketiah, Cheick Doucure and Chadi Riad are all dealing with long-term issues, and Matheus Franca is recovering from injuries.
Everton
David Moys began the season with a depleted defense, and Jarad Bluntwaite and Vitaly Mikolenko were still missing from training earlier this week. Nathan Patterson is also suspicious, but we should know more after Moet’s pre-match press conference.
Flam
Marco Silva was able to have a team that fit perfectly into his home match against Leeds on Saturday. Issa Diop missed out on a 2-0 loss to Chelsea before the break, but they need to fit well enough to rejoin the team.

Leeds
Goalkeeper Lucas Perri has already been ruled out in two games due to thigh injuries. That means Carl Darlow scores the goal at Craven Cottage. Daniel Fark has already spoken to the media and confirmed the positive news of Ethan Ampadu and Tanaka.
“Some good news with Ethan and Tanaka Ao,” he said. “Since the beginning of this week, both have been integrated into a major part of team training. We have spent another 48 hours and will make a late decision with them. We may travel with both. We may not travel either.” However, there are still questions marks left for striker Lucas Nmeka, who missed training this week, and Joel Piro, who has a wounded calf.
Liverpool
Alexander Isaac was able to make his bow this weekend following a £125 million switch from Newcastle, but his game time will be monitored carefully after the preseason is limited. Arne Slot praised Sweden for handling the forward during the international break after Sweden was rested in a 2-2 deadlock with Slovenia and was featured sparingly against Kosovo.
“We treat Alex the same way, so don’t expect 90 minutes a week. He missed preseason and team sessions so we have to build him gradually,” Slot said. We predict that ISAK will start with a replacement.
Ibrahima Konate left with a convulsion when he won Arsenal 1-0 on August 31, but will be available as he competed for France earlier this week. Jeremie Frimpong was able to make his comeback this weekend and resumed training after having thigh issues last month.
Manchester City
Pep Guardiola is working on the largest injury list of Premier League managers following Omar Marmash’s knee problems while he is in his international duties with Egypt. Rayan Cherki, Mateo Kovacic and Kalvin Phillips remain with long-term fitness concerns, and John Stones is another worry after withdrawing from England’s obligations due to muscle frustration.
Abdukodir Khusanov retreated from the collision in Brighton with a knock, but Josko Gvardiol has not featured this campaign yet, but should be available for United Encounter. Phil Foden and Savigno were able to return to the Derby this weekend.
Manchester United
Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount maintained their knocks in victory over Burnley ahead of the international break. Cunha shares social media posts that encourage social media posts suggesting a potential comeback while withdrawing from international commitment with muscle recession. Lisandro Martinez faces an expansion spell on the bystander with a knee complaint.
Newcastle
Major concerns for the Magpies focus on a £55 million summer signing to Joane Wissa, the injured man who represents Dr. Congo. “He won’t make this game,” Eddie Howe confirmed. “He feels the effects of his injuries. He’s just before he leaves. He’ll leave for the test and probably see the specialists see.”
Fellow new signing Jacob Ramsey remains on the sidelines with ankle issues that were maintained in a goal stalemate with Leeds before an international break, and Anthony Gordon faces suspension following his red card for a reckless challenge at Virgil Van Dick. Howe is optimistic that Jollington will be available after missing out on the previous fixture.
Nottingham Forest
Ola Aina has maintained a knock while in her international duties with Nigeria and is considered a great doubt. Oleksandr Zinchenko is not eligible to feature against his parent club Arsenal. Nicholas Dominguez remains on the treatment table.
Sunderland
The Black Cat is facing a long list of injuries as Romaine Manle, Dennis Sherkin, Leo Hoelde, Dan Ballard, Luke Onien and Aji Arase have been ruled out through injuries, but Neil Huggins could make a comeback this weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur
James Madison, Radu Dragusin and Dejan Krucevsky have been absent for a long time, but Yves Bisma and Dominique Solanke may be featured this weekend. Solanke is nursing ankle complaints, but Thomas Frank appears to be unconscious about the issue he sidelined with Bisma last month.
West Ham
Graham Potter’s only concern looks like Niklas Fullkrag, who has returned from international commitment with a minor knock that requires evaluation. “We have Niklas, who had a slight problem with his calves from international obligations, so he came early (back). He’s lightly trained today, so we’ll see how he reacts,” he said.
Wolves
All attention is being paid to Jorgen Strand Larsen this weekend after the striker withdraws from international obligations with Norway due to Achilles’ problems. He was away when he lost 3-2 to Everton on August 30, but if he can’t play either Newcastle, his absence is sharp. Ki-Jana Hoever and Hugo Bueno will be receiving a fitness rating ahead of this weekend’s match.
