Chelsea has been charged with 74 crimes by the Football Association, but Bruce doesn’t expect any major sports sanctions after the charges are issued
Chelsea does not expect a sports penalty that the club faces 74 fees following the Football Association’s announcement on Thursday morning.
The Bruce has been hit with allegations over transactions with football agents, intermediaries and third-party investments under the stewardship of the club at Rome Abramovich.
However, Chelsea expects results that are more consistent with their UEFA contract several months ago.
In July, the club is subject to financial penalty and a comparable resolution is expected. This means it’s financial, not important sports punishment.
Sports penalties, including points deductions, are believed to not take into account Chelsea, Football London reports.

FA claims are understood to be primarily related to tax-related issues resolved in collaboration with HMRC.
Additionally, Chelsea has revealed the issue and is working closely with the FA on suspicious violations, as stated in the club’s official announcement.
“The Club Ownership Group completed the club purchase on May 30, 2022. During the thorough due diligence process prior to completion of the purchase, the Ownership Group recognized potentially incomplete financial reports regarding historical transactions and other potential violations of the FA regulations.
“As soon as the purchase was completed, the club self-reported these issues to all relevant regulators, including the FA.
“The club has demonstrated unprecedented transparency during this process, providing comprehensive access to club files and historical data. We will continue to work with the FA to conclude this issue as quickly as possible.
“We want to document our gratitude to the FA for our involvement with the club in this complicated case. The focus was on issues that happened over a decade ago.”
