Alexander Isaac’s move from Newcastle to Liverpool has seen fans oppose the Swedes, but the magpie players continue to insist that they are not unlucky
Emil Craffs claims that Alexander Isaac, to ensure his move to Liverpool, caused a split in the Newcastle dressing room.
The Swedes wanted to leave St. James’ Park and kept pushing the exit door after the Premier League season began. Isaac was ruled out in the first three games of the season as his future dominated the club’s press conference.
Newcastle originally dug their heels and claimed he was not sold, but they later changed their stance and landed the British record fee on the deadline to end the story. Many Newcastle players continued to be quizzed about the situation.
Isaac was designed to train himself away from the first team, but once his exit was confirmed, many players moved forward, and insisted that the Swedish desire to move forward would not disrupt them internally.
Krafth told Sportbladet: “There were a lot of people who wanted to stay with Alex, but I understand how football works. I hope he will be the best in the future. For me, Alex is not just a football player, he is also a close friend.

“The media writes that the locker room will be split. That’s certainly not true. The footballer understands the footballer and we can wish him good luck. As Anthony (Elan) said, it’s very cold. No one says anything, not being taken away from the thin air. You understand the situation with the club.
That sentiment is reflected by several other players. Krafth’s favorite, Elanga is an ISAK teammate on the international scene, claiming the situation was “cold.” The new arrival also claimed that Newcastle was also improving quality while Isaac was on the move.
Dan Byrne, who scored alongside Isaac in his final Carabao Cup victory at Liverpool last season, claimed he was not heading for a striker, but he understands that people are protecting the club with Isaac, facing backlash from his loyal people.
He said: “There’s no hostility towards him. You know what Newcastle fans are like. We’re very protective of your club and your city and want players who want to play in Newcastle.”
In the final week of the transfer window, Newcastle landed Nick Urtemaid and Joane Wissa, and Isaac moved forward three years ago at more than double the cost.
