Tottenham is in the process of change after Daniel Levy after the chairman resigned 25 years later, and it is speculated that the club could be subject to acquisition

Tottenham confirmed that they rejected two “expressions of interest” in speculation of bids from Amanda Stabury’s company

Tottenham claims that the club is not on sale after two “explicitly rejected” by the hierarchy.

The North London side is in the process of change at the top of the club after longtime chairman Daniel Levy resigned 25 years later. There is growing speculation that there may be a buyback bid at this point.

Former Newcastle co-owner Amanda Stabury has linked her offer through her company PCP International Finance for the last few months seen at the club’s stadium last season.

However, Spurs released a statement claiming the club was not an interesting offer after revealing interest from outside consortiums, such as Staveley’s company and the Chinese language group.

The statement stated, “The Tottenham Hotspur Limited Board of Directors is aware of recent media speculation and confirms that its majority shareholder, ENIC Sports & Developments Holdings Ltd, has explicitly rejected interest in relation to the entire proposal for issuing capital issued by the leaders of the PCP International Limited Limiters of Roger during the ENIC issue via Firehawk Holdings Limited.

“The Club and Enic board confirm that Tottenham Hotspur is not on sale and that Enic is not going to accept such offers to gain interest in the club.”

Stavely is in discussions with future supporters of the bid, and on Monday morning the PCP confirmed it was interested in the potential moves, but confirmed that it “is not going to offer Tottenham.” According to Takeover’s rules, the company will not be able to return with another bid for another six months.

Tottenham ownership is subject to the UK acquisition code. Another stakeholder may make a formal offer to the club if he is invited to the ENIC board or if the rival consortium declares its intention to bid.

Holding nearly 87% stake, Enic is ruled by British billionaire Joe Lewis, but has since returned from his role. His children, Charlie and Vivianne, are expected to play a bigger role, with Peter Charlington replacing Levy and the first major appointment from the new administration as non-executive chairman.

Since 2001, Levi’s exit has been in shock. However, he claimed that “great progress has been made” despite decades of attacks from supporters over the club’s direction and decision-making.

“I am extremely proud of the work I have done with management and all of my employees,” Levy said in a statement confirming his departure. “We built this club into a global heavyweight class that competes at the highest level.

“I would like to thank all the fans who have supported me over the years. It has not always been an easy journey, but important progress has been made. I will continue to support this club passionately,” he added.
