Dominik Szoboszlai confronted the red card decision that sparked an annoying night for Liverpool midfielder and colleague Milos Kerkez. Szoboszlai captained Hungary in a stalemate in a thrilling 2-2 World Cup qualifying qualifying against the Republic of Ireland on Saturday night.

Hungary surged to a two-goal advantage before the Reds star set up Roland Saray’s second strike through a corner kick, and the hosts saw Swansea City’s Adam Ida netting their final gas player.

The away team fought the man for more than 30 minutes after Sarai was fired for a reckless tackle at Dara O’Shea.

Szoboszlai commented: “I hope everyone has learned.

“But I have to protect Sarah (Roland Saray), who will intentionally harm no one.

“But if this is red, the first Irish goal should also be monitored.”

Szoboszlai received the yellow card during the start of a violent conflict, where Kerquez was withdrawn with 10 minutes remaining on the clock.

Liverpool midfielder continued.

“The first half was a dream start. If we keep it up, then the whole game would look like this and there’s a match where points are worth the money.”

Elsewhere, Rionugumoja made another impressive cameo appearance to help England under the age of 19 secure a 3-3 stalemate with Murcia’s Spain. Ngumoha came in the final quarter and scored a goal for Everton’s young talent, Harrison Armstrong, in the 87th minute of the match, where Liverpool’s Trey Nyoni was also featured in the first 69 minutes.

Meanwhile, Wataru Endo played the entire game as Japan, which had already competed in the World Cup, and went over Mexico in a friendly match in Auckland, USA.
