England boss Thomas Tuschel admitted that his team should have scored more goals in a 2-0 win over Andorra. The stadium was significantly half empty by the end of the match as England struggled to secure a victory over Andorra, currently ranked 174th in the world.

Tuchel admitted that some of his players weren’t at their best in front of the goal. England only scored three goals in two games against the World Cup Minnows, making it a rather exciting display in front of a full house with 39,202 spectators.

However, Tuchel is confident that England will demonstrate their capabilities in their upcoming matches against Serbia on Tuesday.

Tuchel said: “It’s difficult because it’s a very different crowd than the Premier League crowd. I think the energy was right. It should have been quality. After the first goal, I lost so much of the ball and lost focus and focus, but I found it again in the second half.

“I think I missed a small moment to accelerate the game. Maybe Ebz (Eberechi Eze) wasn’t having his best day at No. 10. The final pass from Nuni Maduke was not clinical enough, and Marcus Rashford had good moments but couldn’t finish them.”

“It’s something that could happen for a small team. The second goal should have come early because it gave us a lot of freedom. In general, I was completely satisfied and performed much better than in June.

“We’ve learned a lot. I’m happy with the players. Now we’re going to prove Belgrade’s point against Serbia.”

However, Tuchel praised debutant Elliot Anderson, confirming that he would never again think about wearing Serbia’s Nottingham Forest midfielder during World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday evening.

Tuchel added: “It’s very good, very good. He was a little nervous this week, but he did it and told me to give it a try. I think that was the test. I think he passed the test.

England’s winger Maduce commented: “We won the game, the World Cup qualifiers, the clean sheets, two goals. I’m happy. They’re hard to crack.

“Today was better than we played them last time. We were more fluid. We should have scored more points, but overall we’re pleased with the team’s collective performance.”
