Newcastle’s new boy Anthony Elanga arrived this summer and Alexander Isaac immediately pushed the exit door and watched as the magpie team was left to digest his controversial departure
Newcastle Ace Anthony Elanga rubbed his shoulder with Alexander Isaac on the Swedish side and said “lucky” after the striker finally secured his move to Liverpool.
Isak revealed earlier this summer that he wanted to explore his options away from St. James Park. Newcastle stood firm in their stance that he would not be sold, so Isaac led him to the tool to force his move.
His fellow Swedish Elanga moved to Magpies and joined them from Nottingham Forest and were part of a team that had to deal with the constant noise surrounding Isaac’s future. The striker was even told to train himself away from the main group.
ISAK has put an end to Saga by Newcastle receiving British record fees and securing an exit on the deadline. Elanga must play alongside players who rubbed the Toon fanbase the wrong way and brought them a short response.

The forwards downplay the sense of drama within the team and claim they still buy with a lot of talent. He added: “He had signed us and now he was signed with Liverpool. We all think he’s a very good player. We lost some good players, but we also signed good players.
Newcastle has scored two points from the opening three games and is still aiming for their first win. Their next outing after an international break was able to see them boasting new arrivals Nick Urtemad and Joane Wissa in the first XI.
Newcastle won’t face Isaac in new colours until he plays the Reds to head to Anfield in late January. Liverpool recently secured a victory over the Magpie. In doing so, Isaac’s Saga dragged along with the strikers left behind by Eddie Howe’s team in the first three games.
Elanga claimed that Isaac insisted on doing what he wanted in his career. “That’s his choice,” he said. “He chose Liverpool. I wish him good luck. He’s a friend of mine and a great footballer. I can play with him on the national team. That’s also a good thing.”
