However, Europe’s biggest club has opened the door for him to try to sign Guehi as a free agent next summer when his contract expires.

Inter Milan and Juventus are also interested in Guehi, who realizes that as free agents he can order even bigger contracts.
Foreign clubs will be able to speak with Guehi starting January 1st to win pre-contract contracts that give them an edge over Premier League teams.
Guehi revealed this summer that he will either join Liverpool or leave as a free agent when his contract with the Palace expires next year.
This means he’s not interested in discussing new deals, but Liverpool is keen to snap him up as a free agent next summer.

They will not discourage them from returning to Guehi and they hope that despite the disappointment of the week, they can seduce him to Anfield.
But they also know that they will face tough competition this summer with other major European teams.
