The 21-year-old Argentine International left Manchester United to join Premier League rival Chelsea and placed pen two papers on a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge

And he was gone. Manchester United outcast Alejandro Garnacho has departed the Red Devils and has completed a £40 million move to Chelsea, leaving behind a Carrington “bomb” that he had joined this summer.

Argentine International, only 21 years old, has signed a contract with the Blues until 2032. His exit has been on the cards since he became increasingly intense in his role under Reuben Amorim despite being a regular under Portugal for much of last season – and finally spoke after the final defeat of the Europa League in May to Tottenham, a match that began on the bench.

A few days later, Amorim told Garnacho to find a new club this summer. Garnacho officially spent preseason training, leaving United’s first team who expressed his desire to leave. And now he has his move to longtime admirers, with Chelsea first trying to make a deal in January. Like £40 million, United also holds a 10% sales clause.

“It’s an incredible moment for my family and I to join this amazing club,” Ghanacho said. The agents, Carlos Canbeiro and Kiek de Lucas, were first discovered in January at Stamford Bridge. “I can’t wait to get started.

“It’s special to see the Club World Cup and be a part of the World Championship. We are the best team in the world! It’s amazing and I’m so happy to be here.”

Garnacho joined United from Atletico Madrid in 2020, and after advancing the academy, he scored 26 goals in 144 appearances.

He was Chelsea’s ninth arrival and fifth attack addition to Chelsea, and following Joan Pedro, Liam Dellup, Estevao and Jamie Gittens, Bruce finally pushed his signature after completing the exit for Christopher Nukank.

However, he also believes that with the personal demands of Director Enzo Maresca, the opportunity to add Garnacho to the attack, especially at that price, was too good.
